Pasadena Public Library
285 E. Walnut Street
Pasadena, CA 91101

Dear Librarian,

I recently purchased a home in Temple City, CA. In the attic I found the book, "Birds of Eastern North America" by Frank Chapman. It had a card dated Feb. 5, 1978 tucked in a sleve inside the front cover from the Pasadena Public Library. That makes the book 9,233 days overdue. In 1978 the daily fine was $0.02 per day, so the total fine would be $184.66. Is there a reward for returning such a late book? Could this come from a portion of the fine?

Yours Truly,
Scott
